Overview
With all of the social media spaces out there the concept of a personal web site has largely gone by the wayside. This is my attempt to gather the various pieces of content I’m putting out there on the web, highlight things that have inspired me or informed my worldview, and provide an easy way to find me online and contact me.
I’m currently working as the executive director for Netroots Nation. I’ve had a passion for politics for a number of years now and I’m fortunate enough to be able to do it every day as my job. In the past I’ve done a whole lot of things including software development and design, management, business consulting, and project management. I’ve worked for Fortune 100 companies and small start-ups alike. But each day when I wake up I get to face new challenges and call upon all of that experience in new ways.
With the time I have outside of work I choose to spend it with some great organizations. I’m involved as a member of the San Francisco New Leaders Council advisory board and I was named one of their top 40 under 40 emerging leaders in 2008. I’m also a board member for a San Francisco based (but growing) organization called Professionals VIP that aims to bring together a diverse cross-section of community leaders.
I live in San Francisco, CA, with my wife and two cats and I’m an avid cyclist, hiker and outdoor enthusiast.
